Payments are to be made on the day of consultation. Payment methods accepted include cash, cheque, bank transfer or debit/credit card.
You may be eligible to claim the consultation fee through your Private Medical Insurance company.
It is the client’s responsibility to make sure that the consultation is authorised by the Insurance company before an appointment is made. Fees are payable on the day of consultation to Thrive, and the client should obtain a refund from the Insurer. Please discuss with your Private Medical Insurance company to ensure Dietitian appointments are covered in your policy before booking. Depending on the level of your health care cover, you may be able to claim back all or part of the amount charged.
A 24 hour cancellation policy applies. Should you no longer need the appointment, 24 hours notice is required. If a consultation is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, 50% of the consultation price will be payable.
Failure to attend an appointment will also result in 50% of the consultation price being charged.
Sometimes, in exceptional circumstances, cancellation with 24 hours notice is not always possible. Thrive is happy to make exemptions during such times.
